dumb idea: pouring hot h2o on your car during a snow storm

my five male neighbors who live across the road from me shoveled themselves out tonight for the sole reason that they needed a beer run.
i called my work around ten tonight. the answering machine said it was tomorrow already and that we are required to come in to work, but that we can be a little late if necessary. i wonder how many won't show til noon?
