banana's don't have thumbs

i'm really enjoying living with my roommates. it's like an instant new circle of friends. you have them, their boyfriends, and their closest friends all coming to your house which means if need be you could never leave the commons and you'd still have frequent human contact. sweet!
freya just got her nails trimmed and is about to get a bath. she has a patch on her back leg where a knee would be that is now hair free and kinda pink and scabby. i hope it's just from rubbing it on the pavement every time she lays down at the back door. poor baby...
erik gets back to iowa today. he says they've been pulling long hours shoveling out two week old raw sewage. yummy...
i need to get back to my list of things to do today as the day is just about half way over already. :)
