beans on a bun

this morning after receiving two phone calls in the time span of two and a half minutes giving us addresses to good garage sale deals i dragged myself out of bed and informed my husband that he needed to get dressed: we were going garage saleing!
after two hours of slushing through the pouring rain in the low sixties we returned home with our loot: a baby gate, a bike, fat (pregnant) women shirts, cute infant hats, heart beat monitor, and (drumroll please) three strollers. yes, my friends: three! one is a running stroller for erik and jr, one is your standard infant carseat pop-in, while the third is a dual stroller (for two kids not necessarily for twins!).
we're loaded now! :) and we pretty much robbed these people. all three for $115! that's less than if we'd just purchased one of them new!

i went to the chiro today. i've been so screwed up when sleeping that i've actually managed to bruise my spine. no fun. dr cupp told me that the muscles around my spine were tighter than they have ever been. he said the only explanation he could think of would be pregnancy hormone surges, but that i would only have strong enough surges this early on if i was having twins. he's a hateful man i tell you. very evil... i think he's been talking to erik behind my back. :)

i just finished the final episode of alias. after five enjoyable years i have a few comments/thoughts to share:

1) good job killing tom. i didn't care for him and rachel. too much, too soon. i already had sidney and michael.
2) thank you for bringing back sark and marshalls wife. they deserved it. and i totally deserved sark's return. :)
3) ***if you are planning to kill someone you should shoot them as you walk into the room. if you must say something it should be along the lines of "screw you" (or stronger language) bang. not "why did you do ..... i thought you were changed..... i should have known better...." it's true- you should have known better. it's your fault and you should go see your shrink about it, but pouring your soul out to them only presents them with the opportunity to smack you in the head and escape. at which point they get dumb points too for not shooting you dead while they had the chance.***
4) thank you jj abrams for coming back for the last season. it helped.
5) i forget who said "if they're worth shooting once, they're worth shooting three times." i agree with you. see point three.
6) whoever gave dixon the dumb braids this season should have been fired.
7) i love marshall. way to show the strong daddy/husband side of him.
8) too much body doubling. and they never did it the same way twice. why not just double the whole world? oh, wait. some people really are trying that...
9)i want a wig.
10)i enjoyed every scare the suspense gave me. thank you alias cast. thank you...

the people i nanny for purchased a cabin on the lake last night. starting july 1st the girls and i will be passing our summer on the beach. what a rough life!
