an anvil. the smaller the better.
old corduroys. have any you've outgrown or over worn? i'd like them. thanks.

a whole bag of twizzlers

i just found out there's a zoo in colorado where you can pet giraffes. i'm so excited i fear i might wet myself!
on to other things also of value. :) nara can walk along stuff almost as fast as she can crawl. i've found myself having to look for her lately. fun times!
i'm down another size at the gap (yes!) and their pants fit my post-baby body better than my pre-baby body, oddly enough.
i'm on a huge pumpkin kick and found the best pumpkin bread recipe ever. it rivals starbucks and isn't $1.95 a slice! i also found a great pumpkin oatmeal raisin cookie recipe.
i now floss more regularly than at any other time in my life.
did i mention the giraffe petting!
this is my last month working full time (for people outside my family) until next summer.
we get to go see brian reegan in des moines with amanda's family! we're bringing a babysitter with us. ;)

something to ponder:

"It is a singular thing that the people who most commonly need to be told that they cannot be saved by their good works, are the people who trouble themselves the least about doing them. A man who is in earnest and who really, and honestly, sets to work to gain for himself eternal life, is far more likely to be awakened from his delusion. Just as if a man were bent upon flying with a pair of wings of his own construction, he would speedily be convinced of his delusion by making a trial of his wings. But the people who go on in a contented way in the course of this world, and seldom have a thought beyond that of pleasuring themselves, will generally be found at last resting upon the reflection that they have done of felt something which will recommend them to God."
