annie for the 79th time

the heading is "Guy seeks police help for something moronic". that's so sweet to me!

BERLIN (Reuters) - A 52-year-old man from the German town of Darmstadt tried in vain to get a refund for 400 euros ($475) worth of what he said was "bad marijuana" from his dealer before turning to the police for help, according to authorities.
The police then charged the man with violating drugs possession laws and confiscated the 200 grams of marijuana he brought with him to the police station, according to a report in Bild am Sonntag newspaper Sunday.

"It is un-usable," the man told police in the hope they would help him get his money back. Amounts of up to 30 grams of marijuana are allowed in most German states for private consumption.

breathe; calm

My hubbie got me tickets to see Superchic[k] last night as my valentines surprise. :) it was a great concert. i could have touched them we were so close to the stage. three other groups toured with them that i'd never heard of before not really being "up" on the Christian music scene these days. seventh day slumber was VERY good in my opinion. first of all, their lead singer reminds me of amanda and i's piercing artist at nemesis, cooper. he was a big tatooed dude who looks like he's lived a life i could never even imagine... and he has. he was very clear on why he does what he does and after telling his story was able to get approx. nine kids to admit to currently considering suicide. three of whom have even written notes and have a plan (i peeked when we were suppose to have our eyes closed). he and his band were able to take them to another room, hook them up with youth pastors and pray for them and talk to them/with them. i really respect what he and his band mates do... oh, yeah... and superchic[k] rocked! :)

Seventh Day Slumber
"Oceans From The Rain"

And I’m amazed by You. Cause You’re never far away
And all that I’ve been through, Your love has never changed

You make oceans from the rain
Breathing life into this place
And I will drown inside your love
Until I see your perfect face

And nothing I’ve acquired means anything at all
Cause you’re everything I needed
You’re so much more than I deserve

And I thank you Lord

The blood of Jesus can wash your pain away

kjirstin's dance

hello, everyone! life is finally starting to slow down... somewhat!
the honeymoon was good. day three a diamond fell out of my wedding band and day five the pearl fell out of my engagement ring, which meant day seven was spent in ankeny at the jeweler's. all's well, that's ending well though (i get a new wedding band today).
freya moved into the condo last night. erik had to sleep on the floor in her room to keep her form whining. dumb dog with her emotions. what's that all about?!?
the wedding was beautiful and could not have been pulled off without all the help of our family and friends. i believe we have one of the best networks of support and love known to mankind. we are truly blessed beyond words. we don't even know who all to thank we were served by so many!
adeline was the greatest flowergirl in the whole world. such a champ! she walked down the aisle at the perfect pace and calmly stood next to amanda and ate the m&m's she earned. :) she went and sat with her mom at one point and would wave at me if i looked at her. then she decided to quietly come back and join us on the stage. i was so proud of her!
well, i should go wake kjirstin up so we can go to the chiro. ttfn!
