onions have layers

amanda moves in this week. yeah! she finally finished reading the half-blood prince. it feels so good to finally be able to talk about why i cried for the last six chapters without giving away the story line. it was a sad book... through and through.

wow, it's been awhile! sorry!
everything's been going well in my life. my foot healed, i haven't injured myself more severely than a paper cut, i read harry potter (and made erik stand in line with me for the midnight release!), saw the fantastic four (poorly written, yet enjoyable fluff), had an enjoyable meeting of the families, scored well on my midterm, and went ice skating without falling. yep, i'm doin' well!
tonight i get adeline and kjirstin from eight pm until friday at three pm. yeah, for playing mommy! their parents will be in two different states and sarah was freaking out about it until her husband reminded her that she trusts me more than anyone. that made me feel good. :)
I need to do clean my room though if I'm going to be entertaining two ladies under two!

oh, my goodness! erik's parents dog is such a spazz! it's a cross between a wiener dog and a chihuahua. it freaks out whenever it thinks something is going to eat it's food. everyone enjoys working tippy up by taking an inanimate object and talking about how it's headed to the food dish. she positively freaks out every time! it's great. :)
we set off fireworks last night. i sent a rocket down the street where it crashed on the neighbor's roof. oops! then erik accidentally dropped a stink bomb on the floor in the dining room. that was a great smell for the next hour or so.:)
freya jumped on me yesterday leaving a three inch bruise/scratch down my bicep. it hurts! she needs to learn to have better aim when going for my shoulders!
